Mixed Martial Artist and Judoka, Ronda Rousey, is stepping out of the Octagon and into a pair of the Boot Campaign’s signature “give back” combat boots.  In her official photo now released on http://BootCampaign.com, the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion is expressing her patriotism and gratitude for the men and women of the U.S. Military by joining the Boot Campaign’s robust family of more than 400 Celebrity Ambassadors, including fellow UFC Fighters such as Jon Jones, Anderson Siliva, Junior Dos Santos, Tito Ortiz, Urijah Faber, and Randy Couture to name a few.  Rousey is currently in the final days of training for UFC 170 on February 22, 2014 where she will defend the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship against fellow Olympic Medalist and undefeated fighter, Sara McMann.  She is also set to star in the films The Expendables and Fast & Furious 7.

Rousey is the consensus #1 pound-for-pound female MMA fighter in the world, according to MMARising, MMAWeekly, and other publications. She is ranked #1 at 135 pounds according to the Unified Women’s MMA Rankings. As of January 27, 2014, she is the #9 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC.

As a nonprofit started by five sassy and hard working professional women, we couldn’t be more honored to have Rousey join the ranks of proud Boot-wearing Celebrity Ambassadors helping to turn heads and promote patriotism throughout the country.
