Johnny Joey Jones: “Alive” Day!

Three years ago today, one of our dear friends, Boot Campaign REAL Hero Ambassador, SSgt Johnny Joey Jones (USMC Ret.) faced one of the greatest challenges of his life: survival.

We are all incredibly GRATEFUL that he is the resilient, tough, and determined man that he is, and that we have had the opportunity to not only watch him recover, but help lead others in their own recoveries while advocating for this entire generation of war fighters.

Today, we celebrate the LIFE of Johnny “Joey” Jones, while joining him in keeping alive the memory of GySgt Floyd Holley and Cpl Daniel Greer, who laid down their lives three years ago, today, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

We LOVE YOU Joey and can’t THANK you enough for your service and what you have brought to the Boot Campaign! Happy “ALIVE” Day!
