Country Music Duo Montgomery Gentry Joins Boot Campaign to Support Needs of U.S. Military Veterans

Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry join national military awareness and assistance nonprofit ahead of NEW single release this month.

Austin, TX (July 3, 2014) – Since the release of their first hit “Hillbilly Shoes”, we’ve been stomping our boots to the classic tunes of country superstars Montgomery Gentry. Amid the high-energy of a new single being released this month, a music video out this fall, and a new album release in early 2015, Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery are partnering with the Boot Campaign to show their gratitude for all who serve our country by swapping their cowboy boots for Boot Campaign combat boots.  Montgomery Gentry’s official Boot Campaign photo can now be seen on http://BootCampaign.com

The Boot Campaign was launched in 2009 with the intention of cultivating awareness of the needs of our military upon return home, while promoting patriotism among Americans.  Through the awareness raised by Montgomery Gentry, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Troy Aikman, Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson, the cast of FX’s Sons of Anarchy, UFC competitors, and more than 400 other musicians, actors, professional athletes, and other newsmakers, the Boot Campaign has been able to raise funds to support our returning heroes and their families through programs within its key areas of assistance: Jobs, Housing, Wellness, Education, Urgent Assistance and Family Support.

“Any time we can do something for military heroes we are on board,” said Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery. “It is just so important for us to support them and everything they do and this is a great way to show support.”
