The Boot Campaign is a national non-profit charity on a mission to promote patriotism for America and our military community; raise awareness of the unique challenges service members face during and post-service; and provide assistance to military personnel, past and present, and their families.  In it’s five-year existence it has grown to become one of the most sought after organizations in the military support sector due to their signature “boot-shoot”photo brand and visually outstanding call to action through photo and video storytelling.

Details of Internship:

As an Intern for the Boot Campaign, you will learn how this highly creative non-profit organization manages its in-house Art Department, which will help you gain professional work experience unique to non-profits.  You will apply your own creative skill to complete projects which help the organization accomplish its mission all the while helping to maintain and even progress the widely known creative reputation Boot Campaign has garnered in the non-profit world.

Details of position:

  • Part time, 2 days per week
  • Prefer to be located in Georgetown, TX office but is negotiable
  • Effective February 1, 2016
  • Internships for Boot Campaign run in a 90 day cycle

Measureable Tasks & Requirements

  • Brand and Archive signature boot shoot images
  • Ability to do photo retouching – photo editing
  • Receive and record photo release waivers for all boot shoots, backup on hard drive
  • Basic design duties as led by the director
  • Open to Graphic Design Majors
  • Own computer required
  • Photoshop proficiency a must
