Boots Leave Their Mark on ACM Party for a Cause!

/

The Boot Girls want to thank our friends at ACM Festival for a boot-stomping good time at the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause in Las Vegas, NV. Throughout our three-day stay in early April, we were amazed by the hundreds of people looking to get involved in our clever expression of patriotism: by wearing combat boots to salute our troops!

Highlights of the Boot Campaign’s experiential booth included a visit from our friends stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Boot Campaign Celebrity Ambassador and Country Music Artist, Chase Rice, and a Pushups for Charity pushup competition!

Purple Heart Recipient SSgt. Joey Jones (USMC Ret.) and Las Vegas-area gyms Kaizen CrossFit and The Fit Labs led pushup competitions at the booth. Pushups for Charity is Boot Campaign’s largest fundraiser of the year. The goal is to raise $1 million for the Boot Campaign’s Veteran support programs and have Americans complete 1.4 million pushups: one for every man and woman serving today. Pushups for Charity takes place nationwide starting on Armed Forces Day, May 17, 2014. http://PushupsforCharity.com

It was hard to miss the Boot Campaign buzz in Las Vegas during ACM Festival. From stage announcements at ACM Party for a Cause to an appearance on ABC’s “Morning Blend,” our Vegas Boot Crew played a tremendous role in spreading the word about our passion for cultivating awareness, promoting patriotism, and providing assistance to our nation’s military personnel and their families.
