1,000 Miles in Boots: One Man’s Story from the Road of Gratitude

JP Venuti of Bryan, Texas devoted nearly two years of his life to leaving a trail of gratitude.  JP has complete 1,000 miles in a pair of Boot Campaign signature combat boots.  The reason?  To raise awareness and support of U.S. troops.  Through the Boot Campaign, JP is ensuring that gratitude of service, awareness of needs and support for those injured in combat are on the forefront of the minds of all those who witness him on the road of gratitude.

“A little over 18 months ago, on Memorial Day, I decided that I was going to try and run 1,000 miles in military combat boots to raise awareness for the Boot Campaign. I am overjoyed to say that yesterday (December 9, 2012) at the BCS Marathon I ran my 1,000th mile as I crossed the finish line.” – JP Venuti

The Boot Campaign is incredibly thankful of JP’s sacrifice in the name of our heroes, and will ensure that his $1,000 donation is used to make the most impact on our military service members and their families.
